Il Lago Inle
Il Lago Inle è un lago di acqua dolce situato nelle montagne dello Stato Shan e si trova a un altezza di 920 m s.l.m.
Le persone vivono in case costruite sulle palafitte, circondate da giardini galleggianti in cui coltivano ortaggi e fiori.
Gli abitanti si chiamano "Intha" che tradotto significa “bambini del lago”. Una delle cose tipiche del lago sono i pescatori che remano usando una gamba per poter avere le mani libere.
Questa tecnica viene usata solo qui, abili pescatori usano nasse coniche che vengono adagiate sul fondo e all’interno delle quali spingono il pesce battendo le acque.
The Inle Lake is a freshwater lake located in the mountains of Shan State and is at a height of 920 mt. sul livello del mare.
People live in houses built on lake dwelling, surrounded by floating gardens where vegetables and flowers are grown.
Inhabitants are called "Intha" which means "Children of the lake." One of the typical things of the lake are the fishermen who row using a leg to have their hands free.
This technique is used here only. Those skilled fishermen use conical fish pots that are laid on the lake bed and inside of which they push the fish by beating the water.
